We left Port Townsend on the early side today (after grabbing breakfast at the Hudson Point Cafe, filling our water tank, and a quick stop at the pumpout dock) and headed north for Lopez Island. We're now moored in Watmough Bay on the southeast corner of Lopez, surrounded by clear turquoise water, tall cliffs on one side, rocky tree-lined shore on the other side, and a nice sandy beach for the dinghy (once it stops raining). For now we need to be working anyway, so whatever…the rain is kinda nice.
