Well this doesn't suck for ten bucks a night, does it?
Behind us:
We passed this place without even looking, figuring we wanted to check out Kalaloch first, which we did. I kinda had a feeling we'd like this place better, and I was right. There were tons of spots open at Kalaloch and it's beautiful, but the campground at South Beach is WAY more up our alley. Gorgeous open spots right on the water…not crowded at all…ten bucks a night. No hookups…just a fire ring and a picnic table, but plenty of sun and an incredible view all around. I think if we were tent camping it'd be nice to have a more private spot at Kalaloch, but with an Airstream, this is pretty awesome.
We've got 3 bars of Edge on AT&T, and we've got good Verizon data service, so we may stay more than the one night we'd planned.
What year is your airstream?
It’s a 2010 27’FB International.
Oh wow! We passed by South Beach on our way somewhere else when we did the Olympic Peninsula last year. There’s no way that somewhere else was as nice. Guess we need to go back! Enjoy.
Time to write an Airstream travel guide to the Oregon and Washington coast!
Beautiful!
Oooooh looks great! Thanks for the cell report!
