Nine people, four dogs, four Airstreams, and many, many torched Peeps.
Well the weekend is officially over and we'll be leaving Ike Kinswa State Park pretty soon here and heading down to George Sutton RV in Eugene to drop of our Airstream for some tweaks and improvements. We had such a great time with Tiffani and Deke and the Hardersen family.
Here are some pics from the weekend:
Kathy made the most delicious crab cake sliders with wasabi mayo:
And Tiffani's green beans with harissa paste were super yum!
The Hardersen family: Justin (with some campfire smoke), Kyle, Kathy, Pete, and Faith. (Kyle is the proud new owner of Tiffani and Deke's first Airstream, a 2003 22' International. Cool coincidence, huh?)
Tiffani and Deke (and Lucy) down by the lake:
Kevin took his new speedy quadcopter with GoPro out for a spin. Tiffani, enjoying the ride through the camera goggles:
Mostly we did a lot of walking (great trails around the lake), cooking, eating, drinking, laughing, visiting, and hanging out by the campfire. A great weekend with great friends.
Great way to spend Easter. Nice to see you two are back on the road . . .
I could not have asked for a better kick off to the camping season!
Toasted Peeps! How could you ever look another peep in the eye?TIC
