We are now at the Columbia Riverfront RV Park, near Woodland, WA. We'll still be able to watch ships from here, but with full hookups and cable tv (which is important because Breaking Bad Season 5 premieres tonight).
We've been using this great site marinetraffic.com to see which ships are passing, where they're headed, what they're carrying, etc. It's a really fun resource if you're into that sort of thing, and right now, we are obviously into that sort of thing.
It's fun to dry camp for a solid week being really careful of all the resources, and then to come to a place like this for a few days and just suck up the amenities.
Thanks for this recommendation. I was having trouble finding a reservation at a state park for the Labor Day weekend but was able to get a riverfront spot here. I’m looking forward to it.

We were glued to Breaking Bad too! Then of course I watched it again a couple hours later. Lol. “We’re done when I say we’re done!” so hooked so bad. Lol
