Drove from Patrick's Point State Park (CA) to Bandon by the Sea (OR) today and we're staying at Bullard's Beach State Park. Got in and did some work before we headed into Bandon to grab some dinner. The Bandon Fish Market was closed by the time we were there (my mom's recommendation for great fish & chips…we'll go there for lunch) so we ended up at Tony's Crab Shack. We had THE BEST FISH TACOS we've had in a long time. Kevin says since we went to Taco Loco in Laguna Beach in 1995. And before that, Mexico. Seriously, they were fabulous.
We walked around the downtown area for a bit after dinner (most everything was closed) and then did the Beach Loop drive back out to 101.
Took a detour out to the Coquille River Lighthouse before heading back to camp. The light was perfect.
Shadow self portrait:
Bullard's Beach State Park (we're in Spot A33) has a little bit of AT&T cell service, and pretty good Verizon datacard internet for us. The internet occasionally flakes out and then comes back, but when it's working it's fairly solid. We have electricity and water, but the campground has a ton of full hookup sites. Oregon State Parks are so great.
Great photos!
My husband and I live in the Pacific NW. We’re not yet free to wander with our Silver Twinkie much or as far as we’d like. I’m regularly following your beautiful, funny, and informative blog. It is feeding my Airstream dreaming. Love it. Thank you.
