Our New Spot at Bodega Bay

About 40 minutes west from Petaluma and here we are at the jetty campground on Bodega Bay at Doran Park. We stopped in Petaluma at Trader Joe's and we're set for the week (as long as we get some fresh crab while we're here). Full bars of AT&T, Verizon data card for internet, batteries are full, solar is just coasting (no shade so we'll get more than we need), water tank is full, holding tanks are empty, and the solar tiki torches are set up and charging. It's windy and sunny and gorgeous.

  1. So awesome. Thanks for including the cell service report!

  2. Hope you had/have a chance (this trip or one before) to visit coastal West Marin while you were still in the Petaluma area. Hog Island Oyster Co. alone is worth the drive. Fort Ross, north of you near Jenner is a nice stop. Once you head up past Mendocino, in Fort Bragg, you have to stop at Eggheads for breakfast.

  3. Kerri: Thanks for the tips! We’ve done a lot of that on other trips up and down the CA coast…have not done Eggheads for breakfast though! šŸ™‚ -L

  4. Glad you got a great weekend at Doran! We were at Seacliff, was a beautiful weekend. We hope to get back to Doran later this year!

  5. Steve: We’re here because of you! šŸ™‚ Love it. In fact, after our business in SF next week, we may just come back!
