Fresh crab, some more fresh crab, and it’s my birthday!

Last night's dinner. Freshly caught and cooked crab, and champagne. Simple, and perfect! We shelled a third crab to have with our breakfast.


This morning for my birthday breakfast Kevin made my favorite: poached eggs with crab and spinach on an english muffin, topped with hollandaise and chives. SO DELICIOUS.


We'll finish up some work for the day and go explore a bit, and then we're headed here for dinner tonight: Jimella & Nanci's Market Cafe. It's a bistro-style cafe that serves Northwest cuisine with an emphasis on local and sustainable products. Their previous restaurant, The Ark, was one of our favorites. Some time ago they closed it and opened the Market Cafe and I'm sure it'll be wonderful!
