We just got a new Oxygenics showerhead for our Airstream. We heard it was a good one (Thanks, Air Forums!) and the one that came with our trailer had started to kinda lag. The new one is much better. The pressure feels like you're getting more water, but you're actually getting less. We know this for sure because Kevin did a test. Results below:
Oxygenics showerhead in trickle mode, seconds it took to fill a latte cup: 16.2
OEM showerhead in trickle mode, seconds it took to fill a latte cup: 12.4Oxygenics showerhead in full shower mode, seconds it took to fill the sauté pan: 52.6
OEM showerhead in full shower mode, seconds it took to fill the sauté pan: 48.5
There you have it. The new one uses 8% less water in shower mode and about 30% less water in trickle mode, all the while giving you a more robust shower. (For $50 at Camping World.) :)
