Here's another cool improvement we made. The cabinet above the refrigerator in our Airstream (we use it as a spice cabinet) is great, except for one thing: it doesn't stay open while you're putting stuff in and getting stuff out. I found this great little doohicky at West Marine for keeping hatches open: a 10" Hatch Arm ($11.49).
It installs easily and holds the door open while you get what you need, and then you simply touch it lightly and it bends and closes the door nicely. Love it!
(Um, what? You don't travel with truffle oil, truffle salt, and saffron?)

I love that you are a foodie! What would I expect from someone who lives in PDX and lives most of their days in a groovy, modern airstream though. : )
