Last time we were home, Laura downloaded some movies and TV shows from iTunes onto her Windows laptop.
She brought the laptop with her on this camping trip. We watched those movies on the flat screen TV in the Airstream.
How?
The laptop connected to the Airstream wireless network via the Cradlepoint router (part of our wifi in motion system. ) The Airstream Mac Mini then streamed the movies through iTunes sharing and uses the flat screen TV as the display and the Airstream stereo with subwoofer for the audio. The viewing was controlled through the Harmony 700 remote – which could handle the TV, sound system, and Mac Mini seamlessly.
It worked great, except I got a headache thinking aout all the different gear involved.
